Omi is a stunning dark bay Thoroughbred mare. Omi is well-trained and calm and is looking for a peaceful pasture to relax in. Omi used to be an athlete - she was poetry in motion on the racetrack. After her racing days, she was used to produce foals for her owner for 15 years. When Omi was unable to race or produce foals anymore, her owner began to neglect her and was opting to euthanize her. Omi thankfully escaped her fate and found her way to Pasado's Safe Haven. Despite her tough past, she is an obedient, friendly mare. She does very well with hoof-trimmings and grooming and any hind-leg movement is unintentional on her part. She would do best as a pasture pal and her dark, gorgeous coat would add a regal aura to any field. Omi is friendly, well-behaved, and beautiful and she is ready to live peacefully at her new forever home. This sweet, kind girl can't wait to find her retirement home.
